Utilising just 7 botanicals, our London Dry Gin hits impeccably hits all 4 flavour notes, creating a full-bodied and well rounded gin which works fantastically in classic cocktails as well as providing a unique herbaceous edge to a G&T. 

Medicinal & Fiery. Distilled with Roman Wormwood which provides a uniquely herbaceous flavour that is complemented with zesty lemon peel, the fiery spice of cubeb berry and juniper’s medicinal pine notes. With a long smooth woody finish from liquorice and devil’s claw root.

Wormwood is a herb used in the alcoholic beverages absinthe and vermouth. In Britain, it was also a common bittering agent in ales. There are many different types of wormwood, with the two most commonly used being grand wormwood (artimesia absinthium) and Roman wormwood (artimesia pontica).

Devil's Botany London Dry Gin is distilled with Roman wormwood.

In the early 20th century, wormwood was wrongfully blamed for absinthe's supposed hallucinogenic effects. These theories never quite added up as wormwood continued to be used in other drinks such as vermouth (from the German word for wormwood: Wermut) during absinthe's ban. Modern science finally caught up and disproved these myths.
