From our East London home, we distill absinthe the way it should be: bold, flavour-forward, and devilishly good to drink. As the UK’s first dedicated absinthe distillery, we take a famously misunderstood spirit, strip away the nonsense, and rebuild it for dark bars, late nights, and curious drinkers.

WHY?

Because Devil’s Botany was built behind the bar, not in a boardroom. Created by the same duo that also run The Absinthe Parlour at The Last Tuesday Society, the UK’s most iconic absinthe bar and The Natural Philosopher, a no-nonsense whisky bar on Hackney Road.

We don’t just make absinthe. We pour it nightly - and we know exactly where it belongs.

So we decided to treat absinthe like the great spirit it is - not a relic, not a party trick, and definitely not a museum piece. Just damn good booze, made properly, and meant to be enjoyed.

Devil’s Botany exists to put absinthe back where it belongs: behind the bar, in the glass, and in the hands of people who like their drinks with a little edge.
